The Cube and the Sky
The building's power comes from a single formal decision: a pure cubic volume, pierced by carefully placed openings that deliver light to the nave at different angles as the day progresses. There is no decoration — the architecture is the light. It is a project that demonstrates how restraint, applied with precision, can produce a space of genuine spiritual weight
Form Without Ornament
The design strips sacred architecture back to its essentials — volume, threshold, and light. There is no spire, no decorated surface, no historical citation. The building works instead through the quality of its concrete, the height of its interior, and the precision with which daylight enters and moves through the space across the hours. What results is a church that feels both entirely new and completely inevitable.
