On the island of Fehmarn, a modest plot and a tight budget produce a four-bedroom house with a generous kitchen-diner. The Kamzelas family now spend their time here, far from Hamburg — a project that demonstrates how much can come from very little when the priorities are clear

Much from Little
The constraints were real: a small footprint, a fixed budget, and a wish for space that felt genuinely relaxed. The plan is organised to maximise the relationship between inside and outside, with the kitchen-diner opening directly to the garden and the bedrooms oriented to capture the morning light. Every square metre works.
