N°33 — Architecture We Love The Whale

Designed by Dorte Mandrup Architects, The Whale sits 300 km north of the Arctic Circle on the tip of the island of Andøya. The visitor centre houses exhibition spaces, a café, and a store within a form that reads as an extension of the coastal landscape — conceived around a mission to protect marine life in Northern Norway and strengthen the region as a travel destination.
